Delete Account

How to delete your Quote Community account, and exactly what happens to your data. Our other apps are covered at the end. More details are in the Privacy Policy.

1. How to delete your account

In the app (recommended)

Deletion is immediate. There is no waiting period.

1. Open Quote Community and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm.

By email

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email support@pablocoding.dev from the email address linked to your account. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, write from any address and tell us your username. We will confirm with you before deleting anything. We handle these requests within one month at the latest, and usually much sooner.

2. What is deleted straight away

• Your sign-in account: the link to your Apple or Google account, your email address, and any profile details Google sent us.
• Your profile: username, profile picture and chosen language.
• Your votes.
• Your follows, in both directions: who you follow and who follows you.
• Your list of blocked users.
• Your achievements, streaks, wins and featured achievements.
• Your notification preferences and your device's push tokens.
• The record of which version of the Terms you accepted.
• Any posting or reporting restrictions on your account.

Settings stored on your phone, such as theme and privacy choices, are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

3. What stays, without your name

To keep the rankings and history complete for everyone else, some content stays, but it is no longer linked to you:

• Your quotes stay in the rankings and history, with their votes, and show as "deleted account". Quotes that were removed by moderation stay hidden.
• Reports you sent stay while the reported content exists, so moderators can finish reviewing it.
• Moderator notes about removed quotes stay with those hidden quotes.

If you want a specific quote removed, email us. We will remove it when the law requires it, for example if it contains personal data that must be deleted, and we will consider any other good reason.

4. Backups and other services

• Backups: we keep encrypted daily backups for 30 days, so your data disappears from them within 30 days of deletion.
• Usage statistics and crash reports (only if you allowed them) expire automatically: usage events after 2 months, data linked to your pseudonymous app ID after 14 months, and crash reports after 90 days.
• Ads: Google AdMob controls its own advertising data. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. See how Google uses this data.
• Messages to support: emails you sent us are kept for up to 2 years after the matter is closed.

5. Our other apps

• Apps without an account (for example Parking Reminder) store data only on your phone. Uninstall the app or clear its data to delete everything.
• Apps with an account (for example Adventourism): use the delete option in the app if there is one, or email support@pablocoding.dev and we will delete your account and data.
